Hard work pays off

When you do a lot of stackin you get to ride at the top as a reward. I know that bail hook is older than him and me combined.

Nostalgia take 2

The previous add of the chief was from a 1978 Farm Bureau Spokesman.  This add was on the next page, you could have picked up this hot rod with a pretty nice discount  it was available in 8, 12 and 16 row also. It was the center fills predecessor.

Nostalgia

The guy in that picture at the top.... He works at the ranch, actually he runs the place. Cutting edge technology for 1978, same age as me in that pic, more hair though. Note he is paying the bills in the pic, somethings never change.

I wonder if the company would come and do a bit of a fix up job on the system for free, you know as a way to show appreciation for the many systems that good looking fella helped sell. We still use it and hope to use it more...

Free ride

The twins don't like to come in from the pasture at night, they bed down in tall thistel and are a bugger to find. This one likes a ride back to the yard. I mowed down the weeds and that has helped.

Cub cadet

I am really impressed with the folks at cub cadet. They designed their zero turn mowers with a slot for a person to tote their trusty sidearm around in while mowing. It is difficult to wear a side holster and access it quickly while sitting. This is great for dispatching garden pests such as rabbits while mowing. Now the .357mag is a bit of overkill as I have found out, but that is another story.....
